Our Story

How a full parking lot sparked the idea of Attest

Several years ago, Chennapan and Ramesh were engaged at a Fortune 500 client to roll out a large ERP implementation. Halfway through the project, they suddenly started finding it difficult to find parking in a normally uncrowded parking lot at the client's office.

This continued for several weeks. Upon inquiring, they found that testers from all over the world had arrived at the client offices to execute integration and user acceptance testing. Digging deeper, they found that such a large roll-out had very little end-to-end testing planned or included due to several integration issues. This lack of a comprehensive and continuous testing resulted in many production issues after go-live.

The founders thought that there had to be a better way to test—not as an after-thought, but as a way to ensure the business was not thrown out of gear and into jeopardy. They realized that the existing methods of testing would not cut it for IT organizations. What IT organizations needed is a Business Assurance Platform and not just a testing solution. This led to both of them firmly deciding to approach the problem from a business continuity angle—what changes in any business process impacted when, where, and how, and what were the downstream issues that would create challenges or business disruption.

ATTEST was built from ground-up to provide a robust platform to effectively assure the business operations of enterprises.
